Dr. Smith was inspired by his father and his work as a professional government diplomat for the American Foreign Service. His exposure to his father’s work was instrumental in developing his skills to get along with individuals of diverse backgrounds and better understand them. In the coming years, he aims to publish his writings not related to psychiatry, including poetry.
