Dr. Knapp is a rising leader in the field of veterinary medicine, with more than a decade of experience to her credit. Since 2014, she has excelled as a veterinarian at the Animal Medical Center of Euclid in Ohio. The small animal shelter and general care facility is well-regarded in the community as a safe haven for all manner of pets. A specialist in her field, Dr. Knapp primarily operates in the domains of orthopedic, soft tissue and laparoscopic surgeries for animals, often performing various procedures at least four days a week. She also provides general pet examinations, in addition to handling her other duties.
Having grown up surrounded by pets and other animals, Dr. Knapp naturally gravitated toward a career in her chosen field. Prior to her current appointment, she operated as an associate veterinarian at the Meadowlands Veterinary Center from 2012 to 2014. Additionally, toward the onset of her career, she was a kennel assistant for another local veterinarian practice. As part of her commitment to her professional endeavors, Dr. Knapp remains active as a member of several pertinent organizations, including the American Veterinary Medical Association and the Ontario Veterinary Medical Association.
Prior to embarking on her vocational journey, Dr. Knapp pursued a formal education. Beginning her studies at The College of Wooster, she earned a bachelor’s degree in biochemistry and molecular biology in 2008. She subsequently continued her collegiate efforts at The Ohio State University and achieved a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine in 2012. Outside of her primary duties, Dr. Knapp also continues to serve her community as a civic-minded citizen, notably volunteering with the Lake Humane Society and Purrfect Partners Ohio.
Dr. Knapp has largely attributed her wealth of success to her discipline and dedication to her profession. Likewise, she is ever committed to her continued education, and she remains curious and inquisitive with all matters pertaining to her industry. Accounting for her accomplishments, she is most notably proud to have built a strong referral network within her community, which has helped to increase her business’s profitability in recent years. In the coming years, Dr. Knapp hopes to begin or serve as the head of her own practice.
