Dr. Charles-Beery’s academic journey began with a Bachelor of Arts in biology from Miami University in 1995, followed by earning an MD from The Ohio University in the College of Osteopathic Medicine in 1999. While pursuing her education, she was notably inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society and had the opportunity to serve as the class president. Subsequently, Dr. Charles-Beery completed a residency in obstetrics and gynecology at Mount Carmel Medical Center through The Ohio State University in 2003, followed by her role as the chief resident, where she was instrumental in managing the residency program and mentoring junior residents. Her licensure through the State Medical Board of Ohio and board certification from the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology Inc. underscore her commitment to maintaining the highest standards in her field.
Active in her professional community, Dr. Charles-Beery holds membership in the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists and the Ohio State Medical Association. Beyond her professional achievements, she is actively involved in civic organizations. She served on the alum awards committee at The Ohio State University from 2016 to 2021 and has been a reunion coordinator for the university’s college of medicine.
