With 25 years of experience behind her, Dr. Voss currently serves as the chief executive officer and a medical doctor with Estrogenica Health 360, a company she founded in 2001. Dr. Voss prides herself on delivering a high standard for quality of care, whether covering gynecology, obstetrics, cosmetic work or other medical needs. As part of Estrogenica Health 360’s continued growth, Dr. Voss started a second company, South East Alabama Surgical LLC, which operates as an ambulatory surgery center for women. In addition to these endeavors, she has offered her services in private practice since 2001 and as part of Ladies First Obstetrics and Gynecology of Dothan since 2000.
Dr. Voss’ performance in the field was born of her academic journey. She obtained a Bachelor of Arts in history from Northwestern University in 1990. Dr. Voss earned an MD from Tulane University School of Medicine in 1994. She finished an internship and residency in obstetrics and gynecology at The University of Tennessee Health Science Center in 1998. Dr. Voss has further solidified her credentials by completing certification in Da Vinci robotic surgery, laser liposuction and cosmetic work, and aesthetic laser and injectable procedures. She has been board-certified in OB-GYN since 2001.
As a commitment to her field, Dr. Voss remains active with several industry-related organizations. She has been honored as a fellow in the American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery and the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists. Dr. Voss has accomplished advanced training with the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology. She is a former member of the American Academy of Laparoscopic Surgeons.
Dr. Voss credits her success to never giving up on her dreams and her willingness to listen to the people she’s working with. Where many doctors have been driven out of the OB-GYN field due to how challenging it is, she refused to quit. Dr. Voss also emphasizes the importance of not taking things at face value. Throughout her career, she has been willing to question how things are done and search for improvements to the process, which is part of what has made Estrogenical Health 360 so rewarding. Dr. Voss also acknowledges the strong mentorship provided by the staff who trained her, including her father, Krishna Bahadoor Singh, her father-in-law, Dr. Gert Voss, and Dr. Baha Sibai.
Beyond her professional life, Dr. Voss enjoys playing tennis, practicing Pilates and yoga, swimming, snow skiing and spending time with her husband and two children. Looking ahead, she remains excited for Estrogenica Health 360 and wants to maintain its momentum. Dr. Voss plans to take the lessons learned on women’s health from Estrogenica and share them with physicians of female patients around the world. She hopes to majorly impact women’s health outcomes by improving the quality of care they receive.
