Attributing much of her success to dedication, sacrifice and self-discipline, Dr. Ragozzino is well-regarded as an expert veterinarian, and as the owner of Companion Animal Medical Center, a veterinary hospital based in Rotterdam, New York. Founded in 2015, the clinic leverages the experience of a small staff of highly talented medical, surgical and dental practitioners, and seeks to provide the highest quality care possible on behalf of pet owners and their companions. Having begun her career as an animal care technician while still attending high school, Dr. Ragozzino advanced through the field to become a licensed veterinarian in 2011, and has since come to specialize in surgery and oncology. To remain aware of developments in the field, she maintains her membership with the New York State Veterinary Medical Society and the American Veterinary Medical Association.
After studying biology at St. Lawrence University, where she earned a Bachelor of Applied Science in 2006, Dr. Ragozzino went on to attain a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine at St. George’s University in 2009. She subsequently completed her veterinary degree at North Carolina State University. Over the course of her subsequent career, she has benefited richly from the love and encouragement of her family, friends, colleagues and coworkers – as well as the many pets she has kept throughout the years. Looking toward the future, Dr. Ragozzino aspires to expand the scope of operations at Companion Animal Medical Center.
