Manraj Singh Bath, DMD, Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon at The Ohio Center for Oral, Facial & Implant Surgery and Founder and Cosmetic Surgeon at Bella Cosmedica, has been recognized by Marquis Who’s Who Top Doctors for dedication, achievements and leadership in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery.
Dr. Bath has established a distinguished career in oral and maxillofacial surgery, marked by more than three decades of expertise and innovation. As the founder and oral and maxillofacial surgeon at The Ohio Center for Oral, Facial & Implant Surgery since 2003, he has built a community-oriented practice that is deeply integrated with the needs of its patients. Dr. Bath is particularly proud of the center’s reputation as a trusted resource, with many patients returning over the years and even bringing their children for care. The practice’s commitment to education is further demonstrated by its collaboration with local hospitals, where residents rotate through the offices to gain hands-on experience.
In addition to his primary role, Dr. Bath is the founder and cosmetic surgeon at Bella Cosmedica, where he oversees four cosmetic services offices. Performing a wide range of facial cosmetic procedures for patients, he is lauded for his precision and expertise. Dr. Bath’s leadership in these practices reflects his dedication to advancing patient care and fostering strong community relationships.
Among other roles, Dr. Bath served as a partner in private practice from 2000 to 2003, where he honed his clinical skills and business acumen. He also worked as an associate in Kentucky in 1999, gaining valuable experience in diverse clinical settings.
Throughout his career, Dr. Bath has been recognized as an expert in oral and maxillofacial surgery, dental implants, mouth reconstruction, diseases and tumors of the face, and cosmetic surgery. He is widely regarded as a pioneer in his field, having developed the Lipsix technique for lip sculpting and innovative methods for oral implant surgery. Dr. Bath’s expertise in dynamic navigation, which is a minimally invasive approach that combines three-dimensional CBCT imaging with dynamic-guided surgery, has earned him national recognition. Notably, in 2018, he was invited to speak on this subject at the 100th Anniversary of the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons.
Dr. Bath earned a bachelor’s degree in chemistry and biology at Gannon University, followed by a Doctor of Dental Medicine in oral and maxillofacial surgery from Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio, in 1994. He also holds a training program certification in oral and maxillofacial surgery from the Ohio State Dental Board. Dr. Bath’s foundational training included an internship in oral and maxillofacial surgery from 1994 to 1995, which provided him with critical early exposure to complex surgical procedures. He then served as chief resident in oral and maxillofacial surgery at University Hospitals Cleveland Medical Center between 1995 and 1999.
Active in his professional community, Dr. Bath’s affiliations are extensive and include membership in the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, the Ohio Society of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, the American Society for Laser Medicine and Surgery Inc., the International Congress of Oral Implantologists and the American Academy of Aesthetic Medicine, among numerous others.
Beyond his clinical work, Dr. Bath is committed to civic engagement and philanthropy. He founded Extractions on the House to provide free dental extractions for those in need and regularly offers pro bono casework, including no-cost implants and dentures for veterans. Moreover, Dr. Bath has participated in Dentistry From The Heart events and supports Falcon Reserve.
Dr. Bath’s contributions have been recognized through several honors, including the Oral Surgery Award from Case Western Reserve University upon graduation, being nominated for the Agent of Change Award by Dental OPTIONS Program HandsOn Central Ohio in 2012, and being named a finalist for the Healthcare Volunteer of the Year Award by Columbus CEO magazine. He attributes much of his success to his ability to combine intellectual knowledge with technical skill, a lesson learned early in his career by observing that true excellence comes from bridging academic understanding with manual dexterity. Dr. Bath also credits his family’s love and support, as well as the values instilled by his parents, who immigrated to the U.S. and prioritized education above all else, along with hard work, faith and a passion for serving others, as key influences on his professional journey.
