Among her most memorable accomplishments, she is incredibly proud of her projects at Harvard University investigating the interaction between ionizing radiation and pollution in the environment, as it led to the creation to a new area of study, as well as her ability to utilize her background to better understand the physiological mechanisms related to the roots of many diseases. In the coming years, she hopes to continue teaching while potentially establishing her own laboratory and writing books that can publish her findings on solar activity and the contemporary history of evolution. Moreover, Dr. Zilli Vieira aims to further investigate biological mechanisms in populations, including the link between space weather and our understanding of the inner workings of circadian rhythm.
