She earned a Bachelor of Arts in criminal justice from Temple University in 2009, followed by a Master of Social Work from the same institution in 2013 and a doctorate in psychology focused on grief counseling from American International Theism University in 2025. She also holds certifications as a clinical trauma professional and a sex therapy-informed professional through Evergreen Certifications LLC.
Demonstrating her commitment to ongoing professional development, Dr. Sheneman is a member of the American Association of Sexuality Educators, Counselors and Therapists.
