Previously, he served as a clinical pharmacist at Providence Medical Group from 2016 to 2018, enhancing patient care through innovative pharmaceutical practices. He began his career as a pharmacy technician at Fred’s Pharmacy from 2005 to 2009. Before embarking on his professional path, he pursued an education at Union University, where he obtained a Bachelor of Science in chemistry in 2010. He continued his academic efforts at The University of Tennessee Health Science Center, concluding his studies with a Doctor of Pharmacy in 2014.
Following these accomplishments, Dr. Lancaster completed his residencies in pharmacy practice and ambulatory care at Providence St. Peter Family Medicine in 2015 and 2016, respectively. Beyond his responsibilities within the field, he has participated in various committees, contributing to the Infectious Disease Committee and the Medical Planning Committee at Camp Leo since 2017. He also worked as a PRN staff pharmacist at Fred Meyer Pharmacy and a PRN clinical pharmacist at Providence St. Peter Hospital, further broadening his experience. He found success with his dual board certifications in ambulatory care and advanced diabetes management, reflecting his dedication to specialized patient care. In addition to his primary vocation, he remains affiliated with various organizations, including the American College of Clinical Pharmacy and the Washington State Pharmacy Association.
In light of his impressive undertakings, Dr. Lancaster has accrued several accolades throughout his career. He was recognized as a distinguished teacher in family medicine in 2022. He attributes his success to his passion for improving patients’ lives and his dedication to their journey toward achieving better health outcomes. Looking ahead, he aims to enter the health care consulting field within the next five years, planning to establish his own consulting firm to assist other organizations and provide education on managing chronic diseases more effectively.
