Subsequently, she obtained a Bachelor of Life Science with a minor in Chemistry from the University of Texas Permian Basin, followed by a Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Texas in 1988. After completing her dental residency at Hermann Children’s Hospital, Gulf States Hemophilia Clinic, MD Anderson Cancer Institute, and Richmond State School, she embarked on establishing her own practice. In 1995 Dr. Armstrong became a Diplomate of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry, further solidifying her expertise in the field.

Throughout her career, Dr. Armstrong has made significant contributions to the field of pediatric dentistry. She has served as the editor of the Journal of the Southwestern Society of Pediatric Dentistry, contributed to Ask the Expert news, and authored numerous articles in professional journals and news outlets. Her achievements have been recognized by various prestigious publications, including Fort Worth Magazine, Texas Monthly, D Magazine, Mom Approved Doctors, and Marquis Who’s Who.

In addition to her professional accomplishments, Dr. Armstrong is an active member of several dental associations, including the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, the Southwestern Society of Pediatric Dentistry, and the American Dental Association.
