Before embarking on his professional path, Dr. Rana pursued a formal education, having earned a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery. He was drawn to the field of medicine due to his experiences with a near-fatal illness during his childhood, during which time he encountered a rude doctor. As a result, he recovered and was encouraged by his mother to become a doctor himself so other patients would receive proper and respectful treatment. Looking toward the future, Dr. Rana hopes to eventually retire while presently continuing to work and focusing on his spirituality.
