From 1968 to 2005, she was a research assistant, associate professor and clinical psychologist at the Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center. Dr. Dralle attributes her success to her innate motivation to support and care for herself. She has always been willing to do what needed to be done to achieve success.
In preparation for her career, Dr. Dralle attended Jacksonville University and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in psychology. She continued her higher education at Louisiana State University and earned both a Master of Arts and a Doctor of Philosophy in psychology. Alongside her formal degrees, Dr. Dralle is licensed to practice psychology in the state of Louisiana. She is specialized in clinical psychology and earned ABPP certification in police and public safety psychology in 2012.
In addition to her primary endeavors, Dr. Dralle has found success through her written work. She authored “Ethics Committees Can Help with HIV-Related Ethical Dilemmas” in 2005, “Are More Medical Mistakes Associated with HIV Care?” in 2004 and “HIV Clinicians Face Special Issues in the Area of Informed Consent” in 2001. Alongside these published works, Dr. Dralle has also contributed to numerous articles, papers, articles and presentations. To keep abreast of her field, she maintains membership with the American Psychological Association, the Southwest Research Institute, the Louisiana Psychological Association and the American Board of Professional Psychology in Police and Public Safety, among other professional organizations. In the coming years, Dr. Dralle plans to continue her consulting and evaluation work through a private firm working with the U.S. Department of Defense.
