Dr. Cranmer attended the University of Arizona, first earning a Bachelor of Science in molecular and cellular biology in 2000 before continuing her studies at the University’s Mel and Enid Zuckerman College of Public Health, where she secured a Master of Public Health in international public health and international health and maternal-child health. She subsequently attended the University of Arizona College of Medicine – Tucson, graduating with a medical degree in 2006.
Dr. Cranmer is a board-certified pediatrician through the American Board of Pediatrics and a fellow with the American Academy of Pediatrics. From 2006 to 2009, she was a pediatric resident at the Oregon Health & Science University and is the owner of Seahurst Pediatrics. Her areas of expertise include pediatrics for patients up to 21 years in ago, adolescent female care and material and child health. In addition to her work providing healthcare for newborns and children, she has served as a volunteer and child sponsor for Nuestros Pequeños Hermanos since 2000 and has been a regional board member with the group since 2015.
Dr. Cranmer attributes her success to her parents, who taught her the value of higher education, along with a formative trip to Guatemala where she served as a volunteer at an orphanage. She knew she wanted to be a doctor from an early age and found herself drawn toward treating children as her medical studies began. Her time in Guatemala inspired her and motived her to complete her studies so she could begin helping children. In the next few years, she plans to expand her private practice and become even more involved in her local community.
