Quickly establishing a reputation of excellence, Dr. Davis continued in his professional pursuits through early roles as a senior staff associate for the National Institutes of Health and head of the endocrinology division at Baltimore City Hospitals. In 1975, he joined the faculty at the University of Buffalo, where he served in dual roles as the head of the endocrinology division and as a professor of medicine for 15 years. From there, Dr. Davis spent a decade as the chief of medical service for the VA West New York Healthcare System, a division of the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs. Today, Dr Davis finds success as the senior associate dean for clinical research at the Albany Medical Center at Albany Medical College. Previously, he served the university as a professor and chairman of the department of medicine.
