Ms. Baumann became involved in her profession because of her passion to contribute to the healthcare system and serve patients when they need health the most. In 2009, she had undergone a spinal fusion surgery. During that time, she learned more about the healthcare system and has developed a passion for it. She considers her career highlight receiving certifications such as the Pharmacy Revenue Cycle Management Certificate, the Basic Certificate in Quality and Safety and the Emerging Leaders Certificate, as completing the courses and examinations associated with the certification process were challenging and daunting.

In the coming years, Dr. Baumann hopes to secure a pharmacy manager position after the completion of her residency. She also hopes to serve on the executive committee of a national pharmacy organization to develop deliverables and resources for healthcare providers across the country. Moreover, obtaining a pharmacotherapy board certification is something that she hopes to achieve in the future as well. In addition, she intends to become a pharmacy manager and inpatient pharmacy manager and then pursue a chair on a National Pharmacy Organization Board.
