Throughout his career, he has made significant contributions by developing modern approaches to increase access to care for marginalized communities. Reflecting on his path, he faced skepticism during his family medicine residency when he shared his dream of opening a clinic for low-income patients. Undeterred, he embraced the challenge and launched The Convenient Clinic in Washington, D.C., which now serves hundreds of underserved patients each month.

Drawing from his childhood experiences witnessing health care disparities, Dr. Lartevi saved diligently for nearly a decade to open the clinic, and with guidance from his bank and sheer determination, he navigated the financial hurdles, even securing funding to weather the COVID-19 pandemic. Today, he remains committed to expanding his mission of providing high-quality care to marginalized communities. Looking to the future, he is passionate about helping underserved and impoverished populations and will remain committed to ensuring everyone has access to quality health care. In the coming years, he is dedicated to continuing his work in medicine. In advising aspiring professionals, he emphasizes always putting God first and surrounding yourself with the best mentors to steer you in the right direction.
