He earned his Doctor of Medicine from Virginia Commonwealth University School of Medicine, completed a fellowship in nuclear radiology at Brigham and Women’s Hospital, Harvard Medical School, in 1986, and a residency in radiology-diagnostic at Baylor College of Medicine in 1990. He also holds multiple state medical licenses, including Massachusetts, Tennessee, Maryland, Pennsylvania, Kentucky, the District of Columbia and Virginia. He is board-certified in nuclear medicine by the American Board of Nuclear Medicine and in diagnostic radiology by the American Board of Radiology.
Dr. Marks’ career is marked by significant achievements, including the invention and patenting of the combined imaging scanner in 1995, now a standard tool in nuclear medicine institutions and hospitals worldwide.
