During her illustrious career, she has also served as a lecturer and instructor at the Harvard School of Dental Medicine. She immigrated to the United States in 1978.
Before embarking on her professional path, Dr. Lee pursued an education at Brown University, where she earned a bachelor’s degree. She continued her academic efforts at the Harvard School of Dental Medicine, graduating with a Master of Medical Science followed by a Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry in 1995. She holds an orthodontic certificate from Harvard School of Dental Medicine. In addition to her primary vocation, she remains affiliated with various organizations in relation to her areas of expertise. She was a member of the American Dental Association, the Massachusetts Dental Society, and the Metropolitan District Dental Society.
In light of her impressive undertakings, Dr. Lee has accrued several accolades throughout her career. She was presented with a Certificate of Appreciation from the Harvard School of Dental Medicine. She believes that her success is due to her unique ability to conduct research and implement it in her practice. Her primary objective in dental school involved saving teeth, but when she began to specialize in orthodontics, she was told to extract teeth that were not aligned. This contradiction lingered in her mind and motivated her to conduct her own research on the subject.
Dr. Lee has always been fascinated by dentistry, particularly because teeth are the only structures that develop after birth. She pursued her interest in dentistry by concentrating on it during medical school and established her career in the field upon graduation. Her most notable achievement was developing her own dentometric shape analysis, which reduced clients’ orthodontic treatment duration by half and defined the dental arch and airway index. She has developed artificial feeding and snoring devices. In the immediate future, she plans to bring them to market and dedicate time to her hobbies which include painting and golfing.
