With 20 years of experience to his credit, Dr. Sakr has excelled as clinic director Injury Chiropractic since 2008 and chiropractor at Chiropractic Specialty Center from 2009 to 2012. Before embarking on his professional path, Dr. Sakr pursued an education at California State Polytechnic University, Pomona where he earned a Bachelor of Science in biology in 1999. He concluded his academic efforts at the Southern California University of Health Sciences, graduating as a Doctor of Chiropractic in 2003. Beyond his responsibilities within the field, Dr. Sakr has participated in numerous endeavors outside of his professional circles. He found success as an author of 11 children’s books. In addition to his primary vocation, he remains affiliated with various organizations in relation to his areas of expertise, including as a member of the International Chiropractic Pediatric Association. In light of his impressive undertakings, he has accrued several accolades throughout his career. He was inducted into the Golden Key National Honor Society.
A notable highlight in Dr. Sakr’s career were the years he spent working in Malaysia and the chiropractic practice he established there. They launched the first physical therapy and chiropractic franchise in Southeast Asia and the first chiropractic university in Malaysia at the International University of Malaysia. They created the curriculum, watched the inaugural class graduate, and hired those graduates to run their franchises. Moreover, he helped create the new medical equipment they would use in those franchises and trained the doctors on how to use the tools.
Dr. Sakr attributes his success to the hard work and diligence of his father, who was a scholar and author of more than 50 books. He also cites his wife as an enormous support. In the immediate future, he intends to continue his chiropractic career for another five to 10 years. Afterward, he wants to venture out to something unrelated to chiropractic. Upon retirement, he’s looking forward to becoming a full-time author of children’s books.
