Dr. Gomez Uncu has established herself in the behavioral health space with a career spanning more than three decades, focusing on psychology and applied behavior analysis. Since 2022, she has served as the founder and chief executive officer of Beautiful Minds ABA Services, where she has pioneered innovative approaches integrating cognitive techniques with applied behavior analysis. Dr. Gomez Uncu’s work has been particularly impactful in supporting nonverbal children in communicating their needs and in teaching emotional intelligence.

Dr. Gomez Uncu’s focus on the physiological underpinnings of behavior led her to establish and trademark both the Hidden Physiology of Behavior Framework™ and Behavioral Physiology Science™, the latter of which is registered for copyright. She has also become recognized as a co-founder of this emerging field, which seeks to place physiology at the center of behavioral understanding and intervention.

In addition to her leadership at Beautiful Minds ABA Services, Dr. Gomez Uncu served as an associate clinical director at ABA of SWF from 2022 to 2024. In this capacity, she contributed to clinical oversight and program development, furthering her commitment to evidence-based practices in behavior analysis.

Active in academia, Dr. Gomez Uncu was the associate dean of academic affairs at Keiser University in Miami, Florida, from 2012 to 2022. During her decade-long tenure, she played a pivotal role in shaping academic programs and fostering an environment that encouraged research and innovation within the university’s behavioral sciences division.

Before her academic leadership in the U.S., Dr. Gomez Uncu began her medical career internationally as a medical doctor at Hospital Blanca Paloma in Spain in 2010. Her early experiences in clinical medicine provided a foundation for her later interdisciplinary work bridging physiology and behavior.

Dr. Gomez Uncu’s academic background includes a master’s degree in applied behavior analysis, a master’s degree in psychology and a Doctor of Medicine. These credentials have been instrumental in shaping her multidisciplinary approach and advancing her expertise across the fields. Dr. Gomez Uncu has made significant contributions to literature in her field. She authored “The Non-Linear Physiology–Behavior Equation™” in 2025, a book that challenges traditional linear models such as the Antecedent-Behavior-Consequence framework by emphasizing physiology as the primary driver of behavior. This publication aims to transform both understanding and treatment approaches within behavioral science. Additionally, Dr. Gomez Uncu co-authored “How to Slay the Beast: Conquering the BCBA Exam (6th Edition Guide)” in 2025, which was officially accepted by the Miami-Dade Central Public Library. Three other books authored by Dr. Gomez Uncu have also been accepted into the Fort Myers Library collection in Fort Myers, Florida.

Looking ahead, Dr. Gomez Uncu is dedicated to establishing the International Institute of Behavioral Physiology Science. This institute is envisioned as an interdisciplinary hub that will introduce groundbreaking nonlinear equations incorporating physiology, benefiting medicine, psychology, behavioral analysis and psychiatry, while transforming global understanding of human behavior.
