Since 2007, he has served at the Orthopedic Institute of Pennsylvania, where he has performed joint replacements for the hip, knee and shoulder, arthroscopic rotator cuff repairs, endoscopic spine procedures, as well as surgeries involving the cervical and lumbar spine, reflecting years of dedication to mastering complex surgical techniques. Since 2011, he has collaborated with orthopedic implant companies to design and improve devices, including a new hip replacement implant for the femur and several spine surgery systems. Dr. DeLuca’s input has helped make operations more effective and user-friendly for both surgeons and patients.

Dr. DeLuca has also excelled as a national course instructor for several leading medical device companies, including Premia Spine: ProMIS & TOPS Device since 2017 and Next Step Arthropedix: The Ray THA since 2024. He previously served in this capacity for Spine Wave: Velocity L Expandable Lateral Interbody Cage from 2015 to 2020 and Spineology: Duo Lateral Interbody Cage between 2020 and 2023. This innovative device, which preserves spinal motion rather than requiring fusion, was part of a Food and Drug Administration study from 2017 to 2022. Dr. DeLuca performed both the initial and final cases in this study and trained surgeons nationwide on this technique, underscoring his leadership in advancing minimally invasive spine surgery.

Dr. DeLuca has received numerous accolades recognizing his contributions. Among them, he received multiple teaching awards at Pinnacle Health System between 2008 and 2020 and the Robert L. Green Orthopedic Excellence Award in 2010 and 2011. He was also named Patient Preferred Orthopedic Surgeon in 2021.
