He earned his Doctor of Medicine from The University of Texas Medical School at Houston in 2001 and his Doctor of Dental Surgery from Texas A&M University College of Dentistry in 1997. His academic journey began with a Bachelor of Business Administration in marketing from Southern Methodist University Cox School of Business in 1988. Dr. Wiggins earned his Master of Divinity from Regent University in 2022. His accolades include membership in the Odontological Honor Society at Baylor College of Dentistry, Omicron Kappa Upsilon, and receiving the Trustees’ Academic Scholarship. These educational achievements have been instrumental in shaping his successful career. Dr. Wiggins was awarded Who’s Who in America in 2025.
Dr. Wiggins holds several certifications, licenses, and positions that underscore his expertise. He is a diplomate of the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and the National Dental Board of Anesthesiology. He also holds a medical license from the Texas Medical Board and a dental license from the Texas State Board of Dental Examiners. As an advanced cardiac life support instructor with the American Heart Association, Dr. Wiggins is committed to patient safety and education. He has served on the Texas State Board of Dental Examiners Dental Review Committee since being appointed by Governor Greg Abbott in 2019.
Dr. Wiggins’s civic involvement includes serving as a board member for the Edward C. Hinds Academy Foundation since 2018 and as a board member for a seminary. He has also served as a board member for the Texas Society of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons.
