Her tenure at Westchester Medical Center Health Network as a child and adolescent psychiatrist further honed her skills from 2015 to 2017. In 2020, Dr. Weiss became an adult psychiatrist specializing in medical counseling and medication management. Her academic roles further exemplified her commitment to the field as an assistant professor of psychiatry and behavioral sciences and site director of psychiatry clerkship at New York Medical College from 2015 to 2017.
In preparation for her future in medicine, Dr. Weiss began her academic journey with a Bachelor of Arts in pre-medicine and pre-medical studies from Boston University in 2000. She then earned a Doctor of Medicine from the Sackler School of Medicine in her home country at Tel Aviv University in 2004. These foundational experiences equipped her with the knowledge and skills necessary to excel in psychiatry. Subsequently, Dr. Weiss completed a residency and fellowship at Saint Luke’s-Roosevelt Hospital from 2004 to 2009. She is board-certified in adult psychiatry by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology.
