Title: Retired Physician
Location: Boynton Beach, Florida, United States
Larry S. Milner, MD, JD, MLS, Retired Physician, has been recognized by Marquis Who’s Who Top Doctors for dedication, achievements, and leadership in Medicine.
Dr. Milner spent 40 years of his life treating patients in his three board-certified medical specialties of oncology, hematology, and internal medicine, further amplifying his knowledge of people’s needs through his obtaining advanced degrees at the University of Illinois Medical School, Loyola University Law School, and Lake Forest College. Dr. Milner’s extensive experience throughout his career was also enhanced by his publishing 19 books on a wide variety of topics, including medical illnesses, the first chapter ever written in a legal textbook on the standard-of-care in oncology, as well as biblical exegesis on the Old Testament, all available for sale on Amazon. His devotion to the welfare of the individual care of patients continued until his retirement from medical practice on 1/1/11.
Dr. Milner’s contributions to the field of medicine have been recognized by his acceptance into Who’s Who in Medicine and Healthcare, and we are pleased to announce that he is continuing to expand his body of work by entering a new field of endeavor in the social area of medical care through his Society for the Prevention of Infanticide that he first formed in 1999, when he published “Hardness of Heart/Hardness of Life: The Stain of Human Infanticide,” in order to warn people of the dangers that mankind had faced from attempting to raise children that resulted from unwanted pregnancies. As abortion was never a safe alternative until the 19th century, unwanted children were often improperly cared for, and as a result, 10 to 15 percent of all unwanted births throughout the history of civilization eventually led to an early death. The discovery of safer methods of abortion began to decrease the rate of infanticide, and this greatly increased when Roe v. Wade was decided in 1973, forcing all states to no longer ban the abortion of nonviable fetuses, and the rate of deaths of unwanted pregnancy fell to levels below 1 percent. On June 24, 2022, however, the Supreme Court in Dobbs v. Jackson Women’s Health Organization held that the constitutional privacy right that Roe v. Wade found was based on a faulty reading of the Constitution, and they overturned the case as being unconstitutional, and needed an amendment to be passed that specifically gave women the right to terminate an early pregnancy.
Dr. Milner does not disagree with that decision, but is aware that getting approval from 3/4 of the states to allow abortion in cases where the fetus is not viable will be a difficult task given the current state of public knowledge on the subject. He is presently nearing completion of a new book explaining the need for this amendment in order to keep the rate of infanticides of unwanted pregnancies at the level presently achieved by the ability to gather data from the results of the Roe v. Wade decision.
Dr. Milner’s contribution to the medical care of patients all over the world through his devotion to these many endeavors. This biography is a testament to that honor, as he continues to strive to educate the world we live in on important medical matters. In his retirement, he now is focused on leading the Society for the Prevention of Infanticide to sponsor an amendment to the United States Constitution to approve abortions of unwanted pregnancies before the fetus is able to survive outside the womb.
