He continued his academic efforts at Columbia University, concluding his studies with a Doctor of Dental Surgery and a postdoctoral fellowship in periodontology, oral microbiology and molecular biology.
Beyond his responsibilities within the field, Dr. Mohammadi has participated in the American Dental Association, contributing to advancements in dental practices and standards. He attributes his success to the ambitions he sets for himself, striving to do his best and seeking innovative and creative ways to improve his business.
Dr. Mohammadi’s journey to success in the dental field is a testament to his resilience and determination. Born in Iran during a period marked by revolution and conflict, he fled to Europe, where he obtained his initial dental degree from Greece before furthering his education in the United States in 1990. Despite the challenges foreign-trained dentists face in obtaining a U.S. dental degree, he persisted and charted his own path as an entrepreneur. Starting with a modest office and working seven days a week, he gradually built his practice. Today, Columbia Dental P.C. has established 13 locations across Connecticut, offering multispecialty services with over 30 providers.
Looking ahead, Dr. Mohammadi is focused on continuing to develop his business while maintaining his commitment to helping people through dentistry. His vision for the future is rooted in sustaining the high standards of care that have become synonymous with his practice and exploring further advancements that can benefit patients and the broader dental community.
