He garnered a stellar reputation as a diagnostic radiologist at Dwight David Eisenhower Army Medical Center from 2003 to 2015.

Before embarking on his professional path, Dr. Bailey pursued an education at Fisk University, where he earned a Bachelor of Arts in biology, magna cum laude, in 1978. He continued his academic efforts at Meharry Medical College, graduating with a Medical Doctorate in 1982. He concluded his studies at Howard University Hospital, completing an internship in flexible medicine and a residency in diagnostic radiology in 1986.

Beyond his responsibilities within the field, Dr. Bailey has participated in numerous endeavors outside of his professional circles. He held the role of trustee and layman’s group member of Saint Paul’s Baptist Church. In addition to his primary vocation, he remains affiliated with various organizations in relation to his areas of expertise. He was a member of the American Medical Association, the Southern Medical Association, Phi Beta Kappa, Alpha Mu Gamma, Beta Kappa Chi, and the Mortar Board Inc.

In light of his impressive undertakings, Dr. Bailey has accrued several accolades throughout his career. He was presented with a Physician’s Choice Award in 1990 and inducted into Who’s Who Among Students in American Universities and Colleges. His remarkable accomplishments are a testament to his unwavering commitment, tireless efforts, and deep-seated devotion to the medical field. In the immediate future, he has set a personal goal of retiring in the next five years and authoring a book on radiology.
