In 2012, he immigrated to the United States and became an internal medicine resident at St. Vincent Hospital between 2014 and 2016. After completing his residency, he accepted a position as chief operating officer and internal medicine specialist at MedBridge between 2016 and 2021. Presently, he serves in multiple positions, including assistant professor in internal and perioperative medicine at the Medical College of Wisconsin, co-director of the perioperative clinic at Froedtert Health, medical director of the Hospital Consumer Assessment of Healthcare Providers and Systems and medical unit at Froedtert Health since 2022, and medical director of Bluemound Rehabilitation at Froedtert Health since 2023.
Attributing his success to his passion for medicine, Dr. Singh utilized this asset to earn a Bachelor of Medicine Bachelor of Surgery in 2006 and a Master of Surgery in 2009 from Jawaharlal Institute of Postgraduate Medical Education and Research. He has also obtained an educational certificate from the American Board of Artificial Intelligence in Medicine in 2023 and a certificate in focused practice in hospital medicine. Additionally, he was recognized as a fellow by the Wisconsin Chapter of the Local Society of Hospital Medicine.
Dr. Singh participated as a member of the Indian Red Cross Society between 2006 and 2014. He has been acknowledged for multiple awards, including the Sri Sudhir Chandra Bhattacharya Endowment Prize for Best Overall Performance in 2001 and the Doctor Vijay Kumar Moorthy Endowment Prize in 2002 from the Jawaharlal Institute of Postgraduate Medical Education and Research, the General Medicine Clinic Award and the Best Clinical Skills Scholarship Award for a first graduate year by the Department of Internal Medicine in 2012. He belongs to numerous organizations in the medical community, such as acting as the vice president for the Wisconsin Chapter of the Local Society of Hospital Medicine, the American Society of Hematology, the American Society of Clinical Oncology, the American College of Physicians, the American Society of Obesity Medicine, and the Society of Perioperative Medicine.
Intending to be at the forefront of artificial intelligence in medicine research, Dr. Singh wants certified clinicians to dictate what the face of artificial intelligence and medicine will become. In the coming years, his goal is to continue his role as a clinician-educator. His advice to the next generation of clinicians is to identify a mentor early in their career and stay true to the profession. When he is not working, Dr. Singh dedicates his time and attention to basketball, learning tennis, and learning about artificial intelligence methods.
