He interacts with different physicians and teaches as part of the facility’s family residency program. He began his career as a faculty member of the Family Practice Residency Program.

Before embarking on his professional path, Dr. Mannan pursued an education at the University of Wales College of Medicine where he earned a Medical Doctorate in 1992. He continued his academic efforts at Westchester Medical Center, completing a residency in internal medicine in 1996. He concluded his studies at Drexel University College of Medicine, formerly Hahnemann University Hospital, successfully finishing residency in internal medicine in 1999 and a fellowship in infectious disease in 2001. He holds medical licenses in Tennessee, Mississippi, and Pennsylvania, and is certified in infectious disease and internal medicine by the American Board of Internal Medicine.

In addition to his primary vocation, Dr. Mannan remains affiliated with various organizations in relation to his areas of expertise. He held the role of chairman of the Infection Control Committee and was a member of the American College of Physicians. In light of his impressive undertakings, he has accrued several accolades throughout his career. He was presented with the Magnolia award in 2016 and 2021 and the Leadership Excellence Award.

Dr. Mannan has achieved success in his medical practice and in serving his community. Guiding the hospital and local community through the pandemic was one of his most important and satisfying achievements, as it involved saving lives and providing personal advice and guidance to the hospital community. He attributes his success to treating people how he wanted to be treated, which has helped him to develop good relationships with other people in his career and personal life. In the immediate future, he wants to continue the projects he is currently participating in and develop them to the maximum extent possible to benefit to help as many people as possible.
