To combat these biases in the field, she engages in volunteer work with Drop of Milk in Syria and seeks to maintains calm in all situations. She also participates as a member of The General Medical Council in the United Kingdom and the American College of Physicians in the United States.

NorthShore is affiliated with the University of Chicago, and Dr. Rikabi hopes to be able to teach there to continue supporting residents and pass her knowledge on to the next generations of doctors. In the upcoming years, her goal is to have children and raise a family. She is interested in stock market trading and real estate while also entertaining the idea of working in hospitals in the Middle East. When she is not working, she dedicates her time and attention to writing, watching Netflix, and practicing mindfulness.
