Dr. Offiong attributes his success to hard work and resilience. When he saw people suffering, he was motivated to know how he could help, which propelled him into healthcare. His most notable achievement is being able to help patients recover from whatever illness they may have, leave the hospital, and get back to their families and lives. He hopes to be remembered as someone who cares about his patients.
Dr. Offiong takes a personalized approach to treating patients and strives to alleviate their suffering. He recalls a memorable incident when he had a patient who exhibited aggressive behavior towards him and treated him poorly, showing no appreciation for his efforts as a doctor. However, after the patient was discharged, he apologized for his behavior and was grateful for the effective, compassionate care he received. His motto is “healthy people make a prosperous nation,” and in the immediate future, his goal is to help treat more people. He also wants to write and publish a book.
