With over 20 years of experience to his credit, Dr. Adomako has excelled as medical and scientific director at IMPRINT Science since 2023. He began his career at Stony Brook University as a student tutor from 2000 to 2003, a research assistant from 2000 to 2001, a teaching assistant from 2000 to 2003, and a student researcher from 2002 to 2003. At the Albert Einstein College of Medicine, he established himself as a senior research technician from 2003 to 2005 and head and neck cancer graduate student in 2010. He served as a postdoctoral research fellow at Mount Sinai School of Medicine from 2010 to 2013 and later as an associate medical writer at Chameleon Communications International from 2013 to 2014.
Dr. Adomako continued his career as a freelance medical writer in 2014 and as a medical writer at Adelphi Group from 2015 to 2018. He established himself as an associate scientific and medical writer at Guidemark Health from 2014 to 2015. He was active as associate scientific director at Lockwood from 2018 to 2019 and as medical director at GSW Advertising from 2019 to 2021. He garnered a stellar reputation as senior medical director at H4B Chelsea from 2021 to 2022 and at Biolumina from 2022 to 2023. During this time, he worked as a freelance medical and scientific director from 2022 to 2023.
Before embarking on his professional path, Dr. Adomako pursued an education at Stony Brook University where he earned a Bachelor of Science in 2003. He continued his academic efforts at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine, graduating with a master’s degree in pathology in 2007 and a PhD in biomedical science in 2010. Beyond his responsibilities within the field, he has participated in numerous endeavors outside of his professional circles. He volunteers in numerous ways when he visits Ghana.
Mr. Adomako’s most notable achievement is helping people access life-changing medications. In the immediate future, he aspires to continue his current trajectory and attain a level of professional fulfillment that enables him to maintain a work-life balance while still engaging with the field of medical communications.
