Ioannis Michael Kalouris, subject matter expert and medical science liaison at Enable Healthcare Inc., has been recognized by Marquis Who’s Who Top Doctors for dedication, achievements, and leadership in Population Health Management.
With nearly 20 years of experience to his credit, Dr. Kalouris has excelled as subject matter expert and medical science liaison at Enable Healthcare, Inc. since 2020. He began his career as a volunteer research assistant at St. Elizabeth’s Hospital from 2005 to 2008. He established himself as office manager at Bridges R Us Painting Company from 1998 to 2020. He worked as a medical consultant at the American Cancer Center from 2014 to 2020.
Before embarking on his professional path, Dr. Kalouris pursued an education at Case Western Reserve University, where he earned a Bachelor of Arts in biology in 2005. He continued his academic efforts at Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine, completing a post-baccalaureate program in medicine in 2008. At the Avalon University School of Medicine, he graduated with a Medical Doctorate in 2014. He concluded his studies at Urbana University, obtaining a Master of Business Administration in 2019.
Dr. Kalouris intends to assist those who do not want to go to the doctor or who cannot afford to purchase antibiotics due to rising pricing, as well as to care for people while they are healthy before they become ill. He noticed the regularity of patient deterioration between doctor visits and became curious about what causes people to delay medical treatment. He found a job online right when the COVID-19 pandemic started and now provides telemedicine services.
Dr. Kalouris attributes his success to his parents’ influence, inspiration, and generosity. His most notable achievement has been his involvement in creating AI to aid and accelerate access to medical records for patients and clients. Moving forward, he would like for their project to take off and have other companies adopt it. His goal is patient care through prevention, charting, medication, and health management.
