Dr. Mel Gill, chief executive officer at Pharmaco Pte Ltd., has been recognized by Marquis Who’s Who Top Doctors for dedication, achievements, and leadership in psychotherapy.

With 35 years of experience to his credit, Dr. Gill has excelled in several simultaneous positions since beginning his career as founder and chief motivational officer of Pandora Publishing House, with headquarters in Singapore, Chicago, Bulgaria and Hong Kong in 1988. He established himself as founder and chief executive officer at Master Trainer Institute of New York, Chicago and Bulgaria in 1991. In 2016, he was recruited as chief executive officer at Pharmaco Pte Ltd. and Vitareum Pte Ltd. with headquarters in the United States, Japan, Singapore, and Bulgaria.

Before embarking on his professional path, Dr. Gill completed his education at Bennington College, where he earned a PhD in counseling psychology in 1981. He was certified and licensed as a neuro-linguistic professional master trainer in 1985.

Beyond his responsibilities within the field, Dr. Gill has participated in numerous endeavors outside of his professional circles. He founded the Dr. Mel Gill Foundation, a nonprofit organization with multiple missions and pursuits. The organization trains teachers in low-income communities to help students change their information-processing habits. It also supports animal shelters and advocates against the dog meat trade in Taiwan and China. 

Additionally, Dr. Gill’s organization financially supports musicians around the world, spearheads an anti-child trafficking campaign in Cambodia and Vietnam, and funds research efforts in Europe, Asia, and North India on technologies that are not dependent on hydrocarbon fuels. Moreover, he is a member and part of the executive committee of the Singapore Autism Council.

The Business Times and The Sentinel have recognized Dr. Gill as the world’s #1 Asian American Motivational Speaker and The Napoleon Hill Foundation has named him one of the 17 best speakers in the world. He has delivered seminars, workshops, and keynote addresses in more than 50 countries and has taught more than 15 million people directly or indirectly through radio, television and on the stage. He is the author of more than 157 books, including “Uncommon Sense” and “The Meta Secret” which have become international bestsellers. He is a film producer and director with multiple credits to his name. 

In the immediate future, Dr. Gill wants to teach entrepreneurial skills to empower people to care for themselves and their communities. His upcoming film project, “Anything is Possible,” is about transforming a problem-focused mind into a solution-centered one. He is looking forward to seeing the research projects he supports come to fruition by 2025. He has no plans of retiring from his career and charitable endeavors and intends to leave the planet better than he found it.
