Beginning in 1994, Dr. Stubblefield held multiple positions for the Monterey County Emergency Medical Service, including chief and director until 2016, then continued to thrive as the medical director until 2019. He notably completed his internship in general surgery at Letterman Army Medical Center in 1983 and his residency in emergency medicine at Madigan Army Medical Center in 1990. Additionally, he was acknowledged as a fellow of the American College of Emergency Physicians.
