In her other prior experiences, she worked as a therapist at the New York University’s Rusk Institute of Rehabilitation Medicine from 2005 to 2011. Ever committed to her profession, Dr. Conklin also remains affiliated with the American Physical Therapy Association, the Academy of Pediatric Physical Therapy and the American Academy of Physical Therapy Educators.

As part of her vocational journey, Dr. Conklin pursued a formal education, ultimately achieving a Doctor of Physical Therapy at the University of Scranton in 2008. In addition to her academic credentials, she is also a board certified pediatric clinical specialist, as recognized by the American Physical Therapy Association. In her adjacent civic-minded efforts, Dr. Conklin has dedicated herself as a Special Olympics coach for many years, and she is a board member of the Down Syndrome Association of Central New Jersey. To commemorate her achievements, she has been honored with numerous accolades, most recently including the St. Ursula Award from the Ursuline School in 2022. In light of her fulfilling career, Dr. Conklin largely attributes her success to her dedicated work ethic and determination.
