Samrah Aslam Mobeen, MS, PharmD, RPh, Clinical Pharmacist, has been recognized by Marquis Who’s Who Top Doctors for dedication, achievements, and leadership in pharmacy.
With more than 15 years of experience to her credit, Dr. Mobeen has excelled as a clinical pharmacist in Houston, Texas since 2022. Prior to this position, she was active as a clinical in-patient pharmacist at Texas Children’s Hospital from 2017 to 2022, a clinical pharmacist in rheumatology and poison control at King Khalid University Hospital from 2015 to 2017, a critical care pharmacist at Scott & White Hospital-College Station from 2013 to 2014 and a clinical in-patient pharmacist with St. Joseph Regional Health Center from 2011 to 2013. During this time, she found further success as the author of “Leena the Detective: Five Pillars of Islam,” the publication of which in 2019 remains the highlight of her career as she was able to enlighten children about the foundations of Islam. Dr. Mobeen began her career as a pharmacist and PGY1 resident at the Washington Hospital Center between 2007 and 2010.
Before embarking on her professional path, Dr. Mobeen pursued an education at the Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences, from which she earned a Doctor of Pharmacy with an emphasis on clinical, hospital and managed care protocols and a minor in nuclear pharmacy in 2007. She concluded her studies at the University of Florida in 2022, graduating with a Master of Science in clinical toxicology, pharmacology and toxicology. Attributing her success to her faith as well as the encouragement of her parents, her husband and her children, she is additionally certified in pediatric advanced life support, advanced cardiovascular life support, basic life support and medication therapy management. In the coming years, Dr. Mobeen hopes to author another book while advancing her pharmacy career and ensuring her children will grow up with the skills needed to better contribute to society.
