Since 2004, Dr. Kelley has been a family physician and medical director with the Jefferson Comprehensive Care System Inc. Prior to this role, he was a family physician with the same organization from 1991 to 2004. With decades of experience to his credit, Dr. Kelley earned his Arkansas State Medical License in 1977 and his Tennessee State Medical License in 1989. In addition to his current roles, he is a fellow of the American Academy of Family Physicians and the American Academy of HIV Medicine.
In preparation for his career in medicine, Dr. Kelley attended the University of Arkansas and earned a bachelor’s degree. In 1976, he graduated from the University of Colorado School of Medicine’s Anschutz Medical Campus with a Doctor of Medicine. Following his formal degrees, he completed an internship with HCA HealthONE at Presbyterian/St. Luke’s Medical Center in 1977 and a residency in family medicine at Meharry Medical College in 1989. In 1991, Dr. Kelley completed an additional residency in family medicine at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences’ College of Medicine. he was recognized for his accomplishments with induction into the Alpha Gamma Rho Hall of Fame in 2007. In his spare time, he enjoys traveling, woodworking and photography.
