Driven to help patients and their families gain equitable access to healthcare, employment, job training and education, Helix Healthcare offers transportation services, nurse care, remote support and respite care. Bearing a wealth of expertise in driving innovations in medical technology and building effective teams, Dr. Abolarin previously found success as a physician informatics architect with the McLaren Health Care Corporation from 2021 to 2022 and with Atos SE from 2018 to 2021, a physician advisor and CPOE consultant for Midland Memorial Hospital from 2016 to 2018, and multiple consulting roles as a physician champion.

Before venturing onto his vocational path, Dr. Abolarin earned a Doctor of Medicine in anesthesiology from the Ladoke Akintola University of Technology in Nigeria in 2009. Following this accomplishment, he continued his studies to the United States and attended the University of South Florida, where he received a master’s degree in health informatics in 2017. Well-qualified in his field, he has been extensively certified in various disciplines via LinkedIn and the Cerner Corporation, including as a physician information technology architect, PowerChart builder, and in leadership. To remain aware of developments in his field, Dr. Abolarin maintains his affiliation with the American College of Healthcare Executives, the Nigerian Medical Association, the American Society of Anesthesiology, and the Nigerian Association of Resident Doctors, for which he has been the vice president and treasurer. 

In accounting for his success, Dr. Abolarin largely credits his deep and abiding passion for doing right by others – especially his patients and colleagues, which led him to the field of informatics. Among his most cherished accomplishments, he is most proud to have worked as a physician informatics architect at the McLaren Health Care Corporation, during which time he devised a solution for correctly diagnosing sepsis. Looking toward the future, Dr. Abolarin hopes to be remembered for what separates him from many in the field; his versatility and ability to function well in multiple fields, be it healthcare, informatics or entrepreneurship.
