In this capacity, through which he bears a wealth of expertise in microsurgery and fertility obstetrics and all areas of gynecology, as well as in endocrinology, Dr. Williams is most proud of the relationships he has forged with patients, for whom he goes to great lengths to deliver the best possible health outcomes he can. Before venturing onto his vocational path, Dr. Williams studied chemistry at Emory University, from which he received a Bachelor of Arts. Following this accomplishment, he went on to receive a Doctor of Medicine at the Medical College of Georgia, where he also undertook a residency in obstetrics and gynecology from 1976 until 1980. Licensed to practice medicine in both South Carolina and Georgia, he has been certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology. Noted for his subsequent contributions to the field, Dr. Williams was inducted as a fellow of the American Congress of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, hailed as the Best Physician and Best OB-GYN by Columbia County Magazine, and as the Teacher of the Year by the Medical College of Georgia.
