In preparation for her career in dentistry, Dr. Hood attended the Dental College of Georgia and completed a general practice residency with advanced education in general dentistry. In 2011, she graduated from the University of Georgia with a bachelor’s degree in nutritional science. In 2015, Dr. Hood concluded her higher education with a Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry from the Boston University Henry M. Goldman School of Dental Medicine, graduating summa cum laude.
To keep abreast of her field, Dr. Hood has maintained affiliation with the Georgia Dental Association. She is also a member of the American Dental Association, the American Academy for Oral Systemic Health and the American Academy of Facial Esthetics. Among her accomplishments, she is proudest of her current team and practice.
Dr. Hood attributes her success to her mother, who instilled in her the importance of furthering her education. She hopes to continue excelling in her practice and plans to serve as a mentor to aspiring professionals in the coming years. In her spare time, Dr. Hood enjoys spending time with her family.
