Dr. James has received the Top Dentist Award in Cleveland, as well as several prestigious honors for her dental work in India. A noted scholar in her field, she has presented valuable research at Howard University and The George Washington University. Inspired by her maternal grandmother, who embodied servant leadership as a nurse during the World War II, she became a doctor of dental surgery to follow her passion for helping and serving people. Devoted to the welfare of her community, Dr. James has served as a volunteer for a number of organizations, including Free Clinic of Central Virginia, Medical Mission at Home, Special Olympics and St. Gregorios Orthodox Church.
