Dr. Sidhu is a clinical cardiac electrophysiologist at CHI St. Luke’s Health–Baylor St. Luke’s Medical Center in Houston, Texas, treating patients here since 2014. He is board certified in internal medicine, clinical cardiac electrophysiology and cardiovascular disease through the American Board of Internal Medicine. He also holds active state medical licenses to practice medicine in Massachusetts, California, Pennsylvania, New York, Michigan, Texas and Ohio. Along with being the recipient of multiple professional awards and a Rhodes scholar, he established the first electrophysiology laboratory in Victoria, Texas.
After attending the University of Michigan Medical School in Ann Arbor to earn his bachelor’s degree in cellular and molecular biology and his medical degree, Dr. Sidhu performed his residency in international medicine at Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine in 1999 in Cleveland, Ohio. He completed a fellowship in cardiovascular disease and a fellowship in clinical cardiac electrophysiology, both at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston.
Dr. Sidhu was drawn to molecular biology and medicine from a young age and while in college, he discovered his interest for clinical cardiac electrophysiology. He was the first in Victoria, Texas to complete a wireless micro pacemaker implant procedure, which he plans to perform more of in the upcoming years.
