Dr. Didier Nicolas Buthiau, Physician for the American Hospital of Paris, has been recognized by Marquis Who’s Who Top Doctors for dedication, achievements, and leadership in medicine.
For the last 38 years, Dr. Buthiau has been considered an expert in his field for his tremendous work caring for patients throughout Paris, France. In addition to his work with the American Hospital of Paris, he has consulted for clinics and hospitals since 1988 and he has served as a teaching director for education offices in Paris France. With his experience spanning many disciplines of the medical field, it has allowed Dr. Buthiau to have a positive, wide-ranging impact on the field of medicine. To share his insight and expertise, he has authored many works, including “Meet the Professor, ASCO,” “Virtual Endoscopy,” “CT and MRI in Oncology,” and “Clinical CT and MRI.”
To prepare for a career in the medical field, Dr. Buthiau first invested his time and efforts into his education. He holds an MD from the Faculty of Medicine in Paris, France, which he earned in 1979. Thereafter, he completed a four-year internship with the Hospital of Paris from 1980 to 1984. After establishing himself professionally, Dr. Buthiau continued in his development as a member of the American Association for the Advancement of Science and the New York Academy of Sciences; two organizations that he still affiliates with today.
In recognition of his work, Dr. Buthiau was the recipient of the National Academy of Medicine Prize in 1994. He was also featured in Who’s Who in Medicine and Healthcare twice, Who’s Who in Science and Engineering, and Who’s Who in the World 11 times. As he looks ahead to the future, Dr. Buthiau intends to continue in his work as a physician and consultant while taking on new projects.
