Before her current position, Dr. Macauley completed fellowship training at Westchester Medical Center from 2018 to 2021 and a residency at Maimonides Hospital from 2015 to 2018.
In preparation for her career pursuits, Dr. Macauley graduated from the St. George’s University School of Medicine with a Doctor of Medicine in 2014. She holds professional certification in critical care medicine, internal medicine and pulmonary disease. Attributing her success to her faith, Dr. Macauley is a devout Christian and regularly consults the Bible for guidance. She became involved in her field due to her innate interest in science and biology, and among her accomplishments, she is proudest of moving to the United States from Sierra Leone at the age of 18. In the coming years, Dr. Macauley plans to continue growing her pulmonary practice.
