In preparation for his career, Dr. Glanz earned a Bachelor of Science in neuropsychology from the University of Michigan in 1983. He graduated from The Ohio State University College of Medicine with a Doctor of Medicine in 1987. From 1988 to 1991, Dr. Glanz completed a dermatology residency program at the Cleveland Clinic Foundation, and from 2001 to 2002, he completed a dermatopathology fellowship in the Melanoma Residency Program at the University of Florida. In addition to his formal degrees, he is board certified by the American Board of Physician Specialties.
For his academic excellence, Dr. Glanz was named a James B. Angel Scholar. Among his professional strengths, he is experienced in dermatopathology, cosmetic dermatology and cancer dermatology. Dr. Glanz attributes his success to his parents, who instilled in him a strong work ethic. He maintains affiliation with Phi Beta Kappa.
In his spare time, Dr. Glanz is an avid fisherman. He led the Skin Deep Fishing Team to the SKA Yamaha Professional Kingfish Tour Championship in 2010. Dr. Glanz also maintains affiliation with the Southern Kingfish Association. In the coming years, he hopes to continue developing in his current position, spend more time writing and focus on raising his children.
