Eric D. Kramer, MD, Director at Medical Specialties of the Palm Beaches, has been recognized by Marquis Who’s Who Top Doctors for dedication, achievements, and leadership in neurology.
Specializing in neuroscience and neurology, Dr. Kramer currently excels as the director of MSPB Neurology at Medical Specialists of the Palm Beaches and as a clinical associate professor at the Leonard M. Miller School of Medicine at the University of Miami. Likewise, he has served as the director of neurosciences at JFK Hospital in Atlantis, Florida since 2011, where he supervises 10 doctors, sees patients and serves as an expert witness in legal cases. Dr. Kramer simultaneously served as co-owner and president of JEM Research, for pharmacy-sponsored research on Alzheimer’s disease and Parkinson’s disease, from 2010 to 2020. He has also offered his expertise as a professor at Robert Wood Johnson Medical School, where he was a multiple-time recipient of the Golden Apple Teaching Award.
To prepare for his career, Dr. Kramer obtained a Doctor of Medicine from Lewis Katz School of Medicine at Temple University in 1984. He followed with an internal medicine internship at Cooper Medical School of Rowan University/Cooper University Hospital, along with a neurology residency and pediatric and adult neuro-oncology fellowship at the University of Pennsylvania Health System and Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia. Notably, he has since been honored as Hero in Medicine in 2019 for providing free medical care to indigents in Palm Beach County, as well as listed in Best Doctors in Florida, New Jersey and Philadelphia and Super Doctors. Dr. Kramer owes his success to his family culture, education, integrity, resilience, and persistence. He is especially grateful of his wife for her support. Looking ahead, he plans to author a book on neurobiological evolution and remain active on the tennis court.
