Following this period, he studied further at the university and attained a Doctor of Pharmacy in 2019. Outside of his primary academic efforts, Dr. Garner held several pharmacy internships at Kroger and Augusta University Health, and undertook two residencies at Prisma Health and Centra Health.
Among his most cherished accomplishments, Dr. Garner is most proud to have participated in various research projects, some of which he published. In accounting for his success, he credits the support of his family, as well as the lessons imparted unto him by his professional mentors. Looking toward the future, Dr. Garner aspires to establish himself in an intensive care unit setting as a preceptor for pharmaceutical students and residents, and perhaps rise to become a PGY2 residency director or adjunct faculty member at a pharmaceutical school.
