Prior to his current appointment, he served as a cardiology fellow at the NewYork-Presbyterian Queens Hospital from 2014 to 2017 and as a cardiology oncology fellow at the Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center between 2013 and 2014. Dr. Evans originally began his career by completing his residency at the Montefiore Medical Center, a part of the Albert Einstein College of Medicine, between 2010 and 2013.
Before embarking on his vocational journey, Dr. Evans pursued a formal education. After earning a Bachelor of Arts in biochemistry at Harvard University in 2006, he subsequently achieved a Doctor of Medicine at the Howard University College of Medicine in 2010. In addition to his academic credentials, he is also certified in internal medicine and cardiovascular diseases by the American Board of Internal Medicine. Dr. Evans largely attributes his accomplishments to his faith and his commitment to the betterment of others. He was inspired to become a doctor while growing up, having seen many others in his community suffer due to poor medical conditions. As part of his profession, he seeks to assist all of his clients, patients and community members not just through medicine, but also via faith, fasting and nutrition. Looking to the future, Dr. Evans hopes to compile all of his knowledge and research for others to discover, as well as pursue more nutritional training.
