Dr. Feeby Wooden, owner and licensed clinical psychologist at True North Psychological Services Inc., has been recognized by Marquis Who’s Who Top Doctors for dedication, achievements, and leadership in the field of mental health care.

With over two decades of experience to her credit, Dr. Wooden has cultivated a career of excellence as a health care professional. Specializing as a licensed clinical psychologist, she has operated as the owner of True North Psychological Services Inc. in Oceanside, California, since 2000. The clinic offers a variety of services to clients throughout California, including individual and group counseling, military family support, and couples and family therapy. In all of her endeavors at her practice, Dr. Wooden aims to provide high-quality, personalized supportive services to each of her patients.

Adjacent to her primary duties, Dr. Wooden also serves as the owner of Redeeming Father. She previously worked with Mental Health Systems as a post-doctoral fellow from 2012 to 2013 and as a program director for the organization’s family recovery center from 2005 to 2010. Furthermore, between 2002 and 2003, she was a teacher assistant at Alliant International University. Dr. Wooden originally began her career in 1996, working at the University of California.

Prior to embarking on her vocational journey, Dr. Wooden pursued a formal education, beginning with her time at the University of California Irvine, where she earned a Bachelor of Science in biology, psychology, and social and cultural science. She subsequently continued her studies and achieved a Doctor of Philosophy in clinical psychology. As part of her dedication to her profession, Dr. Wooden also remains affiliated with Psychology Today.

In light of her accomplishments in the field, Dr. Wooden was previously honored as having the Best Residential Program in San Diego County in 2007. She was inspired to pursue a career as a psychologist after immigrating to the United States from her homeland in Kuwait, having discovered her interests in cultural differences and the manner in which humans interact with each other. In accounting for all of her achievements, however, she is most notably proud to have been able to raise her two children. Looking to the future, Dr. Wooden hopes to obtain her license as a life coach, in addition to establishing a curriculum on the concept of “failure to launch” and teaching it at local schools.
