He has excelled as an orthopedic surgeon with Providence Rochester Hospital, which is part of the Ascension healthcare organization, since 2017. Additionally, he co-founded the Ambulatory Surgery Center Development Company in 2017.

To prepare for his career in healthcare, Dr. Frisch completed a fellowship in adult reconstructive surgery from Rush University in 2017 and fulfilled a residency in orthopedic surgery at Henry Ford Hospital in 2016. Furthermore, he earned an MD from Tufts University School of Medicine in 2011. He previously received a master’s degree in medical sciences from Loyola University Chicago in 2006 and a bachelor’s degree from the University of Vermont in 2003.

To stay abreast of developments in his profession, Dr. Frisch maintains memberships in a number of groups related to orthopedic medicine, including the Michigan Orthopaedic Society, the Orthopaedic Trauma Association, the Mid-America Orthopaedic Association, and the Advisory Circle and Political Action Committee of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons. He is past chair and a co-founder of the Young Arthroplasty Group. Notably, he was a fellow with the American Association of Hip and Knee Surgeons, as well as with the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons.

Dr. Frisch has been bestowed several honors related to his work, including Best Poster in Musculoskeletal Oncology from the American Association of Orthopaedic Surgeons in 2017, the Outstanding Resident Award from Henry Ford Hospital in 2016 and Best Clinical Article from Orthopedics in 2016. Committed to his community, he provides philanthropic support to the Cranbrook Art Museum.
